Jesse Bassett got his first job in a motorcycle shop at age 15 and did everything from sweep the floors to organize parts on shelves. Over the next decade, he got the chance to learn absolutely everything about building and repairing motorcycles.  From engine restoration and machining to basic service work, he has had the chance to learn from some of the best is the motorcycle industry.

Jesse later found a passion in fabrication, and the way in which the parts he was using were made. He decided to make this his focus and in 2009 he started The GasBox and hasn't looked back.

What sets Jesse apart from most motorcycle builders is his attention to detail, his blending of old and new, and his overall design aesthetic. Customers from all over the world come to The GasBox for his very special eye and for a one of a kind build. The GasBox has been featured in just about every major motorcycle publication - print and online - Bike Exif, Silodrome, The Ride coffee table book and many more.

The Gasbox has since evolved into a company that produces high quality custom and restoration components. We manufacture these components with the builder and mechanic in mind, so they too can bring their projects to life.
